    @Ravenscr0ft Regarding your last point. You can choose which items are used in a craft by manually sorting them in front of each other (just by dragging them around in your inventory). This is mentioned in the crafting help, but I can see how if you don’t read it, it wouldn’t be apparent. I will look into the usability there.

    Crafting categories are indeed planned.

    I can’t really explain why you would be missing a recipe for just that one item. Are you 100% sure you had it before? Did you do a search in your crafting dialog just to make sure?

    Here you go:

    That would do, 3 spaces to the right from you, and three spaces above.

    @staypuff That is possibly the best and funniest thing i’ve ever heard. Ever. If Wayward had memes, that would be one.

    Unfortunately, the process is a little rough at the moment. You will need to download/run 1.8, load the game, save, then repeat this process for 1.9, 1.9.1, and 1.9.2.

    @Malvandra I could not reproduce your Animal Fat glitch. Were you trying to light a tree or other flammable tile on fire? Flammable tiles do not need a fuel-like item when trying to start them on fire.

    1. Only if you bring it to a new game, for example, using the Sailboat to start a new game with your items.
    2. The milestone rewards are one time, but you will get better (and more) starting items the more milestones you have unlocked when starting a new game.
    3. Traps start out pretty weak. Their damage and chance at triggering are based on your Trapping skill. If you get this near 50%, your success rate will be 100%, with extra damage occurring each 10%. Full range is 3-16 damage currently and counts as pure damage, meaning it will go through the monster’s defense and resistances.

    Remarkable, Exceptional and Legendary all give bonuses in crafting in the form of increased chances at becoming Remarkable, Exceptional and Legendary themselves. The more used in the craft the better, the higher the quality, the better.

    Thanks for playing! I would recommend checking out deserts and sandstone. Nitre currently only spawns within sandstone. If you check the documentation you can preview it in the “Sandstone with Niter” entry.

    I would recommend reading through the hints. One pops up when you walk over these types of objects for example (Environmental Items). “Pick-up” is available through the Actions menu or you can carve them using a sharpened item.

    Aberrant creatures will spawn more frequently in the night and while you are in caves. Typically monsters are not limited by “where”, but monsters will always spawn outside of your view, so make sure that the tiles that are out of view are spawn-able (so don’t stand inside a giant mountain range and expect them to spawn). You can see which tiles certain monsters can spawn on here: http://www.unlok.ca/wayward/documentation.html

    Another option is to travel to a new world using a Bull Boat to try your luck in some new surroundings. Warning, it can get pretty dangerous as the new monster spawns will factor in your talent when travelling to a new world, so many of the monsters will be harder than just normally starting over.

    There’s many other ways to get treasure currently, some of which include:

    • Locked chests in houses and in caves.
    • Aberrant creatures.
    • Any higher-level creatures such as Pirate Ghosts, Imps, Time Skitters, Fire Elementals.
