Hello! I recently deleted my browser cache and I lost all my progress in Wayward. Now I started again and I was trying to find what are the files the game needs, unsuccessfully.

Does someone know what should I backup before erasing the cache again if I want to keep my progress?

    Thanks!

    It should be something like:

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage

On Windows 7 on Chrome. What you are looking for specifically is the “Local Storage” folder. It all depends on the browser.

Well I’m having the issue in MacOSX Firefox…

On Firefox, you are looking for the file “webappsstore.sqlite”. On MacOS, I have been told it could reside here:

    ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/xxxxxxxx.default/

I cannot confirm this though, but you can simply search your computer for the file.

Is it still so that when you clear it you lose your savegame?

This is still the case when playing the web version of 1.9.2, correct.

I really canΒ΄t find it on chrome.

But I would simply go into the game… wipe your cache… and save the game πŸ˜‰
    It works.

Just a matter of remembering to do it every time :-/
