I’ve unlocked a ton of recipes, however, I’m stuck from progressing any farther because I can’t seem to unlock a kiln or furnace. I’ve crafted and crafted but I’m just not getting these. I built an anvil and a campfire, tons of hand drills, a fire plough, and a bow drill. And some torches, which seem to the be the most similar items..
Any advice?
Currently, you will have to travel to brand new worlds using the Bull Boat and look around until you find some deserty-areas.
Yes I know, there are huge stone and sandstone mountains in this world. I have the required items to make these, but they are not showing up on my crafting list and I’m learning doubles and triples of things I have already unlocked but still nothing about a Kiln or a Furnace will show up.
I’ve carried several coal, charcoal, charcoal powder, and I’ve had 8 Sandstone and 8 Stonelike in my inventory, nothing.
Ah sorry, I see what you mean. I think I missed a sentence out of my response somehow. Try 8 sandstone and 2 Logs. The issue is Charcoal is no longer considered a fuel-like in 1.3 anymore. This will be fixed in 1.4.
