MemberAnd what is the file called? Both online and offline 1.1.1 are currently hanging on the splash screen, and so I’m presuming a corrupted data file.

KeymasterEeek! No good.
The save data for the offline version should be in a folder called “save” in the folder you run Wayward in. If you .zip and send me that folder, I should be able to help you fix it.
Online one will be a bit harder, but I can help you with that one too failing the offline fix.

InactiveI’ve been playing online and enjoying it enough to download (and chip in via paypal.)ย Can I import my online save file? I’d hate to give up what I’ve gained in my hours of play.
I’ve been poking around on my own, and can’t seem to find the file–where is it saved?
If nothing else, it would be nice to be able to copy it, and play a little less conservatively with the knowledge that my hours of progress won’t be totally lost.

MemberI’m interested in this too. I’m downloaded it for Mac and I don’t seem to be generating any saves, and I generate a new game every time I open Wayward.

Keymaster@VVH – The only way to transfer currently is to load up the Save/Load mod, save your file, repeat the process in the online/offline version you want to transfer to, then Load that file you saved:

@madpatter – I would suggest using the same method as above, although it sounds like the Mac version might be bugged for you if it’s not saving. It should be creating a new folder called “save” for you.May 7, 2013 at 3:16 pm #2056madpatter
MemberThe mod file opener doesn’t seem to work, as everything is greyed out. Attempting to drag and drop the file into the space generates an error message.
Interestingly, when I try to manual save, the message still pops up with the message (I’m guessing default?) saying that my file is .26 mb large.

Keymaster@madpatter – Here’s the save/load shown in a video (via Chrome). Let me know if this helps you at all.

MemberAh I see – mistake on my part. I just copy and pasted the javascript into a new file, not realizing the file prompt only recognize javascript files. It works! Thank you!
