Bit of a gamebreaking bug cropped up which seems to be globally affecting my save game. “An error has occurred” with each craft attempt and with each attempt skills are trained and items are damaged in the case of (apparent) failure but items will not be crafted.
Suiciding did not correct the issue. Not sure what to do about this.

I have not been able to replicate this issue at all in the latest online pre-release build. It could be a matter of just clearing your cache (make sure not to delete browser local storage as Wayward is saved there) or using the new URL with the “?convert-save=true” at the end, located in the spreadsheet.
Deleting cache or using that link didn’t work. However, it seems to have fixed itself after loading up version 1.6 in my browser, then exiting and loading 1.7 afterward. Hope that helps you.
Is there a way to edit posts?
Just wanted to add that loading up 1.6 and then 1.7 again completely reset my saved game (all of my milestones were wiped, and options reset to default). It tells me that the problem was some issue with the saved data, but this is not a fun workaround 😉
