So what do you do when it’s night time? I found a partially complete sandstone structure and put a wooden door on it so it’s enclosed and when I got the night time is coming message I ran iside and used the bedroll. When I woke up, it still appeared to be night time. Passed some turns for awhile, didn’t seem to change so I went to bed and repeated. I’ve now slept 4 times and every time I wake it it’s dark out and there are monsters around. What am I supposed to do exactly? Is there a way to see a time of day?

Oh and a quick suggestion if I may, make the equipable items slots part of the inventory window separate of the storage inventory to make dragging items to be equipped easier when you have enough items to necessitate scrolling up in your inventory. Perhaps make it possible to “dock” the window to the regular inventory window so it’ll move with it but still be visible.

Night time is a good time to spend mining mountains or exploring caves.

Perhaps so, but I wasn’t in the position to do so being the end of day 1 and had a rough first day of tons of slimes, giant rats, and giant spiders, so the question stands..

I did run out and tried to do a few things, but ran into vampire bats, zombies, bears, wolves and more spiders. So right now the entrance to my house is being camped by monsters. Sleeping doesn’t seem make them go away so I was also hoping the maybe daytime would.

i find that unless i plow straight onto making iron weapons and prioritize armor after that it gets very difficult very quickly, to my knowledge enemies spawn based on your skill level but do not de-spawn, so my plan usually centers around getting the best equipment as fast as possible,
